I just held my first sporting event at the Manhattan Beach Grand Prix this past Sunday. It was the craziest event I have ever seen. As if fate would know it, I watched first hand potentially the biggest cycling accident in the event’s 50 year history requiring at least 6 people being taken away in ambulances. My own classmate was one of the ER techs and mentioned that one participant needed 3 injections of
Thank you to all of the great and kind people I met at the Manhattan Beach Grand Prix (6/26/11). It was a great event and I had a lot of fun. I now have a better understanding of cycling, not to mention a new found respect for what I think is now the most dangerous sport I have ever seen. Keep up the good work and I will see you all at the Torrance Criterium on 7/31/11!
